I Blame It On Facebook

I think one of the reasons I'm slow to blog lately is that I can pop in on facebook, see what's going on and then get back to whatever I was doing. It's quick. BUT it also just skims the surface. With blogging, I can expound, complain, share stories, etc.

Speaking of complaining... I'm trying not to this holiday season. There is so much for our family to be grateful for and enjoy. Although the holidays are different this year than in years past, Christmas will still come and I'd like to think we're recognizing and taking advantage of the blessings this holy season has to offer.

So in that spirit, I invite you to jog over here and read about building and sustaining hope. Good stuff.

Merry Monday!

The Big Snow of 2009

It started snowing here late last night. I use the word "snowing" lightly as it was barely enough to cover the ground. BUT, it was enough to generate a LOT of excitement with the children!

Our poor little magnolia tree...

Emily's first words this morning were "Oh. my. gosh. Snooooooooooow!"

Keith...not even a little snow can slow him down.
